So I get this to use on a recent large scare on my leg, and I have been using it regularly for over 3 month now , once a day, and I can honestly say I saw a significant difference... not sure about if old scars will fade I'll try it on those and see

This is the most effective product I’ve ever used! I’ve had scars on my feet for more than a decade, and I didn’t have much hope for this product. But after I using it for more than a month, the product really works! I highly recommend this scar remover. This is my second time to buy, the first is my sister bought me to try. My son had a surgery when he was an infant and the scar was visible - indented compared to surrounding skin and white compared to surrounding skin. We have been using this for the past 3 months daily and it has noticeably blended the scar on his face. I am not sure how it works but the change is noticeable. It was an older scar - we didn't start treatment for 6 years. It did cause itching initially but wasn't that discomforting for him.

This stuff works if you give it time. I had my a benign growth of 2cm removed from my lower lip. The surgery left an awful scar and the scar tissue was rigid, making simple things like smiiling hurtful. I started using Mederma Advanced once per day and after about 2-3 weeks, the tissue had softened considerably. The more I used it the more my lip began to feel like normal. Definitely worth the money to repair scar tissue.

My dermatologist suggested that I use Medema Scar Gel after surgery to remove a melanoma. The scar left on my neck was large and rough. After using the gel for about 3 weeks the skin was so smooth the scar has disappeared.

I had a nasty grease burn that people were calling cheetah spots! Thought I'd give Mederma a try and I was Not disappointed! I applied 2x daily (morning and night) for 2-2.5 months (I'm reviewing a little late.

I had an injury that required eight stitches. After a month, the scar began to keyloid. I applied Mederma, and per the instructions, it could take 4-6 months to see improvement. Medera worked as described. After 5 months, the scar has almost totally flattened and matches the surrounding skin color. From prior experience, I know my skin is susceptible to keyloiding, so I can happily report this product worked as advertised.

Works but can make your skin itchy at times. I have noticed it does lighten scars after a couple of weeks.

I have only used the cream a few times and not consistently and it’s already working for me. I have two smaller scars on my stomach from having laparoscopic surgery to detect endometriosis. The small size of them might play a role in why it’s helping my scars. Even without before and after pictures I can clearly see that my scars have faded drastically. I think that this product definitely sped up the process of the scar fading because after waiting awhile with no product, my scars weren’t fading. They didn’t until I used the cream. I’m going to continue to use the cream and see if it makes more a difference. Hopefully the scars will eventually disappear!

Works great using on scar from Total knee replacement and it is really making the scar disappear. Using it on an old scar too and it works great!!

I didn't notice a difference using once a day, but since i've been using it twice a day I've really seen a decrease in the appearance of some of my newer scars!

Going into 6 months using Mederma on my scars from open heart surgery and it is an AMAZING improvement! I noticed a change in the 1st few weeks but after 2 months the color of the scars was considerably lighter and the skin texture was smoother. Now, 1 scar you can't see anymore & my major scar has improved so much even my doctors are amazed. I plan to keep using it & highly recommend it. It did wonders for my self esteem.

I have lots of acne scars from previous acne, some where fresh from just a couple of weeks and some where from a couple of years. It has worked like magic on both the new and old scars. It won’t help with indentation, at least not within 8 weeks. This is ideal for hyperpigmentation. I use it in combination with MSM cream, the results are fantastic ! Make sure to not apply too much, just a thing layer, because skin become itchy and stiff, at least for me!
